Mercury were just brilliant – the lead singer was just electrifying and had the whole of the Leicester Haymarket Theatre, which was full to capacity, on their feet the whole night stamping and cheering and singing along. It was definitely one of our best benefit nights ever; a fantastic night out which raised an incredible £4,500 for vital local HIV/AIDS work and helped massively to raise awareness about our work.
